ISA² conference speakers published!

The speakers of the ISA² conference, 3 March 2016,  Crowne Plaza Hotel in Brussels, Belgium, have been published.

The conference, which is organised by the European Commission, will be opened by Andrus Ansip, Vice-President of the European Commission. It also features a speech by Commissioner Günther H. Oettinger and contributions from Carlos Zorrinho and Michal Boni, both Members of the European Parliament.

In addition, speakers of ten EU Member States (BE, BG, DK, EE, ES, FR, IT, NL, PT and UK) will present measures that have considerably contributed to the modernisation of their public administrations.

Moreover, the European Commission will demonstrate how the solutions developed under the ISA programme, the ISA² programme and other Commission programmes can help public administrations in their cross-border and cross-sector cooperation and how businesses and citizens can profit from this.

In addition, a high-level panel will address the expectations of European public administrations, businesse and citizens in terms of digital public services and the important role of interoperability in this context.

The ISA² conference offers a forum for public administrations (senior policymakers as well as practitioners), the ICT community, business federations, NGOs and citizens to exchange views about upcoming trends in public sector modernisation. It will also highlight the support that the ISA² programme can offer in this respect, through operational services and solutions in the area of cross-border public services.

The conference programme is available here.

Further information is available on the conference website.

Registration is open until 25 February 2016 here.

The conference will officially launch the ISA² programme, of which interoperability is at the core.
