18th International Conference of the LIBER (Ligue de Bibliothèques Europeénnes de Recherche - Association of European Research Libraries) Maps Expert Group. The LIBER biennial meeting brought together experts in maps collections cataloguing and care from all over Europe and included national and university libraries, and archives, among others. Under the slogan "Map Libraries in a changing world", 19 papers were presented and discussed, divided into five sessions: Distribution of digital collections; Photographic materials as geographic documentation; Special collections treatment; Digital maps, and Maps cataloguing. 7th Working Session of the Working Commission on Digital Technologies in Cartographic Heritage of the International Cartographic Association (ICA/ACI). Event oriented to professionals in digitization and university research who use old maps.
